Well after a couple of weeks work, then going flat out for the last two days and today from about 5:30am I have my assessment file completed.
Fingers crossed I have enough evidence and pass my Diploma year.

Ruarri and I signed up at Webdesignfroums.net and there has been some great discussion on the topic Ruarri created. I was really impressed with the latest comment from AlphaMare and thought it was worth repost here with a link!
I like to set up a visual hierarchy, leading the visitor to where you want him/her to go on the site, in a planned manner – an example of the CARP principle:
- Contrast – Items that are different should look different.
- Alignment -Nothing on a page should be placed arbitrarily. All elements should have a visual connection with something else on the page.
- Repetition -Some aspects of the design should be repeated across the entire design
- Proximity (Position)- Related items should be grouped together
The visuals can be graphics, text, or a combination – but the design is complementary to the hierarchy, not separate from it.

Just a quick update, work has been ongoing on my Individual Major Project.
Up to gathering and adding work. There has been a couple of issues that I have need to work out solutions for. Other than that it is all good so far.
Huge thanks to John Andrius, just received the email letting me know that my E-Learning has got the rubber stamp of completion!
Had to re-submit all documentation as I lost my way in ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Develop, Implementation and Evaluation), but with John’s help I found my way out.
That’s another competency down.
